We do that part first and finish second, which is why our bathrooms do not come back with a soft corner or a cracked grout line two years later.

What drives the cost
Layout changes, tile size and pattern (large format and mosaics cost more labour), plumbing relocation, whether the drain has to move, and the fixture package. Waterproofing method is a fixed cost we never skip.

How long it takes
One bathroom: 2–4 weeks. A kitchen: 3–8 weeks. Both at once is usually faster than doing them back to back, because the permit and the site set-up are shared.

Two to four weeks for a full rebuild, plus permit time. Tile and waterproofing need curing days that cannot be rushed, so a shorter promise usually means someone is skipping a step.
Usually yes. It depends on the drain position and the framing, and if you want a curbless entry we check the joist depth before promising it.
Yes. Plumbing and electrical changes need a permit and inspection in Cupertino; we prepare and submit it.
Yes for a bathroom — we keep the other bathroom working and seal the work area. For a kitchen we set up a temporary sink and cooking area.
